Christmas was awhile ago, but that is no reason to stop talking about it. Remember last year? When Mystie sent me that amazing package and I made a video of The Max and I rummaging though it?
This year, DJD drew my name. Deej and I are friends, mostly because he plays songs I request on his radio show and because he left me that message one time on my voice mail. (You can hear part of the message in last years Secret Santa video).
The Secret Santa gift exchange is between some of my XE-er friends. We draw names in the first couple weeks of December and then we aim to get the presents to our draws by Christmas.
Today, I got my package in the mail because when DJD moved a month or so ago, he forgot to bring his calender. Time was completely forgotten when I opened the box and saw a gift certificate, presented to The Max for Toys R Us. Very thoughtful, DJD. Below the gift card was a Styrofoam box. I gingerly opened it, as the box had fragile stamped on it about twelve times. And there it was:

Like I said before, it was my favorite out of all the gifts I gave this year. I’m really glad you like it. I’m just sorry it arrived so late. If it makes up for it, I still haven’t received the 2nd part of my Secret Santa gift, and have no idea who sent the first part (the identity was supposed to come attached to the 2nd part). I’m happy enough with the 1st part though, so if the 2nd one never comes, that’s fine.
I really don’t care one bit about the lateness, you know that right? 🙂

Heeeey there. So I just spent some time last night and tonight catching up on all my regular blogs. And you know this place is at the top of the list. I think I started with something you wrote back from before Halloween…so yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. That whole not having internet for a month really put a damper in my reading. But, I’m all caught up now. And I have to say, my favorite part out of everything I just read (aside from knowing that I succeeded in giving a rocking Christmas gift) was the end of your Christmas video:
“My video cut off…So, that’s it.”
I don’t know why, but that was either the most unintentionally or intentionally funny thing I’ve seen in a while.
Also, as good of a job you did on Suzie, my favorite look was in the first pic. I like her crazy, wild hair. Suzie’s alright. She ain’t hurting anybody.
