Pumpkins, Short and Sweet.

Last night The Pilver household embarked on our annual stabbing of the pumpkins ceremony for Halloween.  We found three pumpkins at the local grocery that were too heavy for their scales.  If you don’t posses artistic talent, bigger is better.  Let me show you the orange orbs glow with the assistance of tea lights.

On the left is mine.   Christmas tree pumpkin was my theme.  The Max’s is in the middle, he chose to make a Boo Mario pumpkin.  I don’t know what Boo Mario looks like, so I will assume he looks just like that.  Mr. Pilver’s is on the right.  We have one pumpkin that looks Halloweeny, just one.

Trick-or-Treaters do not travel out to the area we reside.  We have to drive to town for the  holiday this year.  I hope bags of Skittles make it into Max’s pail, those sound really tasty right now.

Christmas tree pumpkin! I love it.

I’d say the boy did a damn fine job. Oh, and just for info: http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-08/smg-boo-mario.html

    Yup, damn fine.

  3. Well done. We cut our pumpkins way to early this year and now they have deteriorated to the point that they are collapsing in on themselves. Perhaps a little patience next year is in order?
