Everyone and their my mom is on facebook. I don’t know how long it’ll last, MySpace mania seems to have calmed. My guess is that there is something that will replace facebook, and if so, I am packing up and moving back to MySpace because like Thom says, blogging there is so satisfying.
For now, I’ll do facebook.
Those of you on there can or have become a “fan” of certain things. TV shows, political stances, you can even become a fan of a…fan. The other day I set up a fan page for The Pilver. I have been wanting to for awhile, but it feels a bit conceited to ask someone to be your fan. I had been posting each blog I had written as a link in the facebook feed. I really hate posting things that people may not want to see and take up their home page. So now, I can post updates to only those who have become fans.
If you are on facebook, (even if we aren’t ‘friends’) and want to become a fan, all you have to do is search for “The Pilver” the same way you would search for a person. Click on the page and join. (PS This will be the last link added to my facebook page, after wards, hopefully tonight if I finish the one I am currently working on, all updates will be sent from the fan site)
Oh, and happy Flag Day 🙂
i am a huge fan, but i am not going to “become” a fan because you are mine all mine and i dont want to share you with people i barely remember from high school or the b-word i work with. i know, i am weird like that.
I didnt know it was flag day… : 0
