Being as The Office is on cliff hanger mode until fall, I need something to watch tonight. It’s between Steel Magnolias, Pretty in Pink, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Someone tell me what to watch, and then I will analyze it. Set…..GO.
8:35- Movie has started. Holy Crap! I bought this movie from the Salvation Army and have not watched it yet. Turns out it is Lethal Weapon. Lethal Weapon was sold to me in a Steel Magnolias box. I take this as a sign. I will watch lethal Weapon instead. Not too much in the mood for a chick flick anyhow.
8:42- Naked lady doing drugs. Have I mentioned ever how much I hate drugs. Use them if you will, but I hate them.
I see Kinney shoes in the background. I got my first ever pair of Docs there.
9:10- took two more phone calls and then IMed. Not really watching much.
9:38- definately not going to watch this movie tonight. Why on earth of all nights for people to say hello do they pick Movie Night?
Steel Magnolias
Sally Field isn’t in the other two is she?
nope. K, there we go. This means I have to go find my VCR.
I wrote a song about Sally Field once. I didn’t really write it but I gave serious consideration into writing a song about her.
Did I pick the only one that was a VHS?
yes. and as soon as I get off the phone I am going to look for the VCR.
Who are you talking to? Is it me? Because I’m not on the phone. Should I get on the phone?
doho- you need IM
wow- That’s bunk.
I hate when people cut into my flick- time.
We were watching No Country for Old Men and we missed the last half-hour cause we had to explain ro Rudy’s Brother and Mom who Chigurh was and what he was doing.
Fortunately it was a bit too “highbrow” for them, and they left once Tommy Lee started talking in the end.
We were able to rewind it and watch what we missed.
Still- they do stuff like that to us ALL THE TIME.
Yes. kittymao. Thing is, I am oddly trying to tear myself away from the laptop and towards the television. I just never use the darn thing. It just seems more relaxing. Tonight, however, I have an appt. with tg and Sledge Hammer. For this I am excited.
