It’s hot, I hate it. I’ve tried to enjoy this summer. I bought passes to the pool, cooled my apartment as far as I can, and for a brief week, had a semi tan. But tomorrow is August first, my least favorite month of the year. In efforts to cheer myself up, I found this commercial on youtube. It worked.

you poor dear-
I LOVE AUGUST.
But I live in CA, so that could be part of it.
I’m gonna eat assloads of watermelon, deplete the ozone by barbecuing all my meals and burn my irish-white skin one more time before it retreats under fall sweaters.
everytime i see that commercial i wonder what five year old kid out there loves the smell of ground coffee. she inhales like it’s the best thing ever. and it’s not like it’s flavored…it’s folgers.
i hate january worse than i hate august. plus, five fridays = five paychecks this month.
I always loved that one. folgers was never the best but the jingles were. thanks for sharing something with snow. its now time to pull out all your xmas dvds and watch them with a fan blowing on you!
I. Love. This. Commercial. Damn it, now I am wishing for fires in places (fireplaces) and hot chocolate with cold windy nights. sigh…
kitty- the friday thing is good. It means at least one paycheck will not have insurance taken out of it!
Amy- Even before I drank coffee, I loved the smell…but yeah, Folgers is just about the worst coffee there is.
Steph- I think I will, I have no christmas dvds, though. Time to stock up!
