I called my mother a few minutes ago to get an update on my overly pregnant sister. She is en route to the hospital to get the baby out as I write this. Whee! New babies!
Rachel is my oldest sister and this will be her FOURTH child. She has three daughters already and if I am guessing correctly this will be another girl. But my guess is only based on the twisted idea of having my “good ol’ boy” brother-in-law the only man in a the house.
Rachel has had all girls via C-section and this will be no different. The baby is scheduled to be arriving at 6pm. It was supposed to come tomorrow at 9am, but the Irish in it decided to make an early appearance. Here is a photo of me and my sisters and a couple of our cousins the day of my grandpa’s funeral last December. Somehow we all indepedently bought the same black dress for the occasion. Then we circled Rachel and her baby-belly.
Rachel’s usually pregnant 🙂 I like it that way.
And…it’s a boy. Luke is his name. 8lbs. 11 ounces
It’s a good thing I read this twice and didn’t ask about your family’s depressing “holiday” attire.
I have called in on this location on many an instance now but this post is the 1st one that I have ever commented on.
Congratulations on such a first-rate critique and site. I have found it to be very helpful and educational – I only wish that there were more blogs online like this one.
I never disappear from this blog without learning anything, from time to time I may feel a tiny bit saddened that I may not agree with a blog article or comeback that has been made. But hey! that is existence and if every one decided to agree on the same thing what a boring old world we would exist in.
Please maintain your admirable work.
Having said all of this, and if I’m kindly allowed to continue with my entries I will come again to post on your blog site soon
Cheers, have a great day and thank you.
And I found out the middle name…Patrick.
Congrats to all of you! A little boy! He will be so spoiled by all his sisters and aunties! I love the name Luke. If I had a boy I wanted to name him Lucas but was concerned kids may have seen the movie by that name. (one of my favs)
Niice, Patrick on St.Paddy’s.
Hee!
I can’t say that babies are fun as I do not have a hig approval rating on children- they don’t like me and I don’t like them.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t wish YOU tons of fun with the newborn leprechaun Nephew!
You have a great family 😀
Congrats to your sister and her husband. I love that his middle name is Patrick!
you guys kind of look like a sisterhood of witches…haha
