I finally bought a laptop again.  It seems I buy one, use it for a few months, it breaks or one of my children dumps a bucket of water on it, and I am without for another year or two before I cough up the money for a new one.  But I’m very tired of my phone, and I hate being tied to the office to use a desktop.  So here we go again.  I have a place to type and ramble.

And I missed posting on the birthday of this here crusty old blog.  The actual date was in July, and we made a cake and everything.  It was the best Pilver cake yet.  Chocolate Zucchini.  Being as it was stuffed with summer veggies we could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until it was gone.
