There was a very small rainstorm today followed by the MOST BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE RAINBOW!!!
(caps lock fully needed for that phrase)

This is all that showed up for me with my cell cam. This will not do.

yeek…sometimes a decent little pocket camera is a good investment. Jimsey, over at our blog, could give you advice if you’re interested.

  2. kristiane says:

hey, Thanks. I am going to go talk to Jimsey.

  3. what an interesting shade of celadon.

Forgive me for not being around much.. The Laurie is working full time again and when I’m not working, I’m making sure that the Houston economy stays solvent.

    I’ll be back more. Promise.

Yes, interesting. And kinda ugly too. I was thinking the sky looked murky like muddy lake water. I hope your full time schedule is treating you well thanks for stopping by!

  5. I had basically the EXACT same experience this weekend. I was at a music program for the pod-person (i.e. my daughter) and using my crappy little Olympus thing-pretending-to-be-a-camera-but-actually-just-a-piece-of-crap (do you get the sense I think it’s crappy yet?) point and shoot digital camera and not getting ONE decent picture…

I broke down and went on craigslist and bought something that doesn’t suck. Now I have about 300 high-res RAW images of my cats from practicing all weekend. Which really, is just taking sad to a whole new level.

aw, comeon! Taking a hundred pictures of YOURSELF is way sadder than taking a hundred pix of cats.

I’m in the same boat as you Kristiane, my nephew was married over the weekend so I took my crappy little camera and unless they were right in front of me in the light all I got was a dark blurb that may or may not have been a person.

I found my sad but workable digital camera this weekend. I fixed it, cause I had messed it up. Then I lost it again.
