Last July I was happily posting on my blog over at MySpace when a friend of mine informed me that they had begun a new blog on WordPress. This lit a fire in me as I had been longing to break away from my blog at MySpace and begin one in a site not known for its association with Dateline NBC and underage girls. “If so and so has a REAL blog”, I thought. “I should certainly start one.” Especially since so and so had never before expressed a desire to write and they have had some decent exposure in their profession from the blog they started. Well, I did then start a blog and it has become my favorite addiction. Today I realize that before this I had posted ninety-nine times. I also realize that the song playing on the radio at the diner is “Bad Medicine” and not singing along is proving to be difficult.

Glad you did. It’s a good read.
Congratulations and Happy Blogginversary!
(Is that even a word? If not, why not?!)
guise- it is now!
Yeah, blogging is better than meth. I think. Ok, it’s better than Arby’s. Anyhow, thanks for writing, K. Good times.
Good job Kristiane–I’m right there with you on the addiction–when work overcomes me and I can’t blog I get rage-cranky. đ
Congrats on 100!
Hey there. You’re all linked up and what-not over at Veggie Macabre, and I was just over there, so I thought I would stop by and say hi. If Bill/Will gives you his endorsement, I figure there must be something to it. I’m really digging what I’m reading here. More and more, I’m thinking I should start up one of these wordpress deals. I’ve been planning on doing some hardcare blogging on MySpace, but this looks like a lot more fun.
keywork and Murph- thankfully there are no 12 steps for this as of yet đ
DJD-Yes, go for it. You can certainly do more on a site such as this. Thanks for the visit!
Miss K,
I, for one, am glad you’re alive and well and happily addicted to blogging. I know I am. I have a blogging monkey in my back that constantly throws pooh at me….the bastard.
You’re a terrific young woman with a voice. Every time you write, I see proof of that. But you don’t need some old broad like me telling you what you already know. You’ve much to say and anything with a lick of sense will listen and try to understand.
LK
you know i love your writing don’t stop . besides you encouraged me to join yet i never have anything to say or write which seems odd for the guy who can’t shut up at work . go figure
critter- I think you have had plenty to say…and I have been enjoying it all đ
